James Robertson has studied and performed from Victoria to New York and down into Mexico. Through the journey he has played with nearly all of the BC orchestras, the Boston Symphony, the National Repertory orchestra, several New York City ensembles, and choral groups at such varied venues as the Tanglewood, Carnegie Hall, Times Square, the home of the world's largest hockey stick, and a great little restaurant in Mexico.
Among his performance credits are the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, an appearance on Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman, and record credit on a Hedley album.
James is the 2nd Horn of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and is a sessional faculty member at the University of Manitoba.
A proud member of the AFM since the age of 18, he is currently on the board of the Music Professionals of Manitoba.
