Music Performance Trust Fund - 2020/2021 Funding Available

APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

The local has a new allotment of funding available to members for performances that meet the MPTF criteria.

Funding is 100% for solo performances at seniors' homes, 50% for schools and 100% for special pre-approved educational performances.

If you would like to apply for co-sponsorship of a performance, please contact our office at least 40 days prior to the engagement. We will then submit an application to MPTF on your behalf. 

P2 Processing Time & Expedited Fee Increase

The fee for P2 regular processing is $460 US plus the administration and courier fees.

The additional fee for expedited processing is $1440 US.

Also, please be reminded that at this time we are recommending a minimum 60 days processing time (unless filing premium processing). The above timeline is an estimate, which is subject to be increased or decreased by USCIS, with no requirement on USCIS to provide petitioners advance notice of changes to processing times. AFM’s P2 Administrative Team monitors USCIS processing progress weekly, in an effort to provide as solid a time line as possible.

Moving?

Do you need to Withdraw your Membership? Moving away, job relocation, music study, or just taking a break from the music scene?

Please ‘Resign in Good Standing’ by sending us a letter or email while your membership dues are in good standing. It will prevent any additional fees for both you and the Local.
