Grant Miller is a guitarist from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He started playing guitar about twenty years ago and has been making as much noise as possible since then.
After completing his studies at the University of Manitoba, Grant moved to Tucson, Arizona to pursue a Masters Degree at the world-renowned Bolton Guitar Studies program (University of Arizona), where he studied with the world’s best guitarists, worked as a graduate teaching assistant, played many concerts, won a few prizes at guitar competitions, and earned a Master’s Degree.
Grant has performed and recorded professionally playing nearly every style of music on classical, acoustic, and electric guitar and is frequently seen on Winnipeg’s biggest stages. As a soloist, he plays the most demanding repertoire for the classical guitar, and in ensemble has played everything (everything!) — guitar duets, chamber music, musical theatre, movie soundtracks, pop covers, symphonic arrangements of rock classics, and all kinds of jazz/rock fusion.
In addition to his performances, Grant maintains a busy schedule of teaching, working with students of all ages and abilities.
