Heidi Peters

Heidi Peters, BMus, MMus, is one of eleven artist-teachers globally to be Certified by the Performing Arts Medicine Association and the American College of Sports Medicine Association as a Performing Arts Health Education Consultant: Instrumental Specialist. A career self-employed collaborative pianistteacher, Heidi is invested in motivating and training healthy performers. Her career experience includes teaching K-Professional; touring schools with Julie Husband as Duo a la Carte; working as a scoutcontributor for the Encyclopedia of Music in Canada and a Senior RCM Multi-SME Examiner in CanadaUSA; working on a feature film and as a stunt woman; and public-speaking internationally on music education, business and performance health matters.

Heidi accepts students of all ages and abilities including professionals, works in her private studio and online, has trained many professional performers of national and international calibre. Most recently, Rachel Cameron made her debut with the WSO as the Pianist-Music Director of Guys and Dolls.
